I was beyond stoked when Brooks Ritter asked me to design his upcoming record. Working with Brooks is great because he knows what he likes, and pushes everyone he collaborates with to dig deep. After some conversations we decided to make the bold step of putting him front and center on the record. The challenge was to do so without feeling contrived or stale. With a lot of yarn and patience I set up the shoot, centering everthing around an old wooden chair. Mickie Winters worked her photographic magic and boom, there it is.
