A few months ago I was contacted by Drew Willingham to rebrand his photography business. Drew's photography is georgeous, and the goal was to create something that seamlessly complimented his work. Drew recently got his business cards printed, that I designed, and i'm loving this shot. Nice and clean.
Last year was, and I don't say this lightly, an insanely busy year. I'm extremely thankful for all the opportunities that I had to work with such amazing people, and can't wait for all that 2012 has to bring. I honestly don't get the chance to share even a fraction of the work that I do week-to-week, which is definitely at the top of my new years resolutions.
Throughout 2011, I was honored and delighted to work with Sojourn Chuch here in Louisville. Working with Communications Director Bobby Gilles, the standard for bold & creative design was extremely encouraging and challenging. It's a relationship that I hold dear and I wanted to share some of my designs from 2011.
Really excited and humbled to have taken home a bronze award this year from the Louisville Graphic Design Association's annual 100's show, for the design of the Jamie Barnes/Brooks Ritter split EP.
The panel of judges included David Kampa of McGarrah Jesse (Austin, TX), Michael Cina of Cina Associates (Minneapolis, MN) and Justin Fines of Brand New School (New York, NY).
The feedback on the Highlands mural has been beyond overwhelming, and I can't thank everyone enough for all the kind words, mentions, and blog posts. Over the last few days it's even been featured on How Magazine's Blog, DesignWorkLife, Lost Type Co-op, and Public School Blog, just to name a few. Thanks so much everyone!
